For over 60 years, Mclaren Lighting has been lighting up people’s lives. Our bright and beautiful showrooms in Victoria and Nanaimo are well-known and offers our customers a wide range of lighting products. We are passionate about all things lighting.
Our certified ALA lighting consultants will help take your vision and turn it into reality. We have worked hard for many years to form long term partnerships with our suppliers and buying group that insure the best pricing and selection on Vancouver Island.
We are constantly searching for the latest new technologies as well as the hottest design trends and deliver them to you in the comfort of our lighting showroom. Our goal is to deliver extraordinary service to every one of our customers from start to finish on all your projects big or small.
Our History
McLaren Lighting is a family owned and operated lighting showroom committed to ensuring their customers never get left in the dark. For over 61 years we have been serving the communities and people of Vancouver Island.
Initially McLaren Electric, the company started in Vancouver in the 1940s and the company expanded to Victoria in 1960. Finn Finnigan purchased the company in 1975 in which he has been working since 1960. Nanaimo Showroom was opened in 1985.
Members of the Finnigan Family, Dave, Craig, and Kris are working in managerial roles in the organization and scaling up the company to take it to the next level. Liam Finnigan also joined Mclaren Lighting team as the third generation and supporting the family on important projects.
